Volunteer - You Are Needed!
Locks Heath CommuniCare Association is a registered charity for the benefit of Senior Citizens covering the Locks Heath, Park Gate, Sarisbury Green, Lower Swanwick, Titchfield Common,Warsash and Whiteley areas.
You can help in the following areas:
The association is entirely run by local volunteers. Nobody is paid but mileage expenses are claimed for car journeys to hospitals and doctors surgeries. It's great fun with lots of interaction with our Senior Citizens who greatly appreciate the service provided.
We are currently very short of volunteers in all areas - training and an induction is given.
YOU ARE NEEDED - no matter how little time you have to spare and no matter how confident you are tackling new challenges. If you have the time to spare and would like to help others please call us on 07002 456 689 to have an informal chat. Alternatively please fill out the 'contact us' form.

- Driving Lunch Club members to and from the clubs by car
- Assisting at the Lunch Clubs
- Driving people to doctor's surgeries and hospitals
- Driving the CommuniCare minibus
- Escorting people on the minibus
- Helping in the Lockswood coffee shop
- Co-ordinating the telephone bookings for hospital and doctor's surgery drivers
- Fundraising
